Natural Mediterranean style for a small apartment in the heart of the Island of Elba

The small apartment overlooking the sea on the Island of Elba, in the holiday resort of Porto Azzurro, was completely renovated to reveal all its maritime nature. In this contemporary project in Mediterranean style, the breath-taking view of the sea was a great source of inspiration for architect Luca D’Errico, who created the design.

The floor covering chosen for the living area was Vero Natural wood-effect porcelain stoneware, installed in a herringbone layout in 20x120 cm size, from a collection that is sustainable as it is manufactured with 40% recycled material and also feliving areaatures the Sublime Sync technology for perfect matching between the graphics and the texture of the material. The walls are covered with the Stone_Art Steel collection in Move 3D structure version to evoke the patterns left on the sand by the waves of the sea.

The real focal point of the project is the small roofed terrace, finished with the Crogiolo Scenario Tappeto 2 collection with wave effect that further amplifies the colours of the sea and the sky in the panorama.

Last but not least, the architect selected Marazzi products for the bathroom, specifically Stone_Art: Steel Woodcut structure with ribbed effect to cover the area behind the washbasin and the plain tile in Steel colour for the other walls.
