The design by Park Associati for the office complex called The Pecchi at Cassina de’ Pecchi, just outside Milan, is a brilliant example of retrofitting intended to attract businesses which adopt new working models.
Marazzi supplied all the ceramic slabs used. The elegance of the black and white interiors was accentuated using the Treverkway collection, in the 15x90 cm size, with all the shade variations and texture of elm wood, while the walls of the toilets, kitchen and back office were finished with the neutral white of SistemC square tiles. Mystone Pietra di Vals, interpreting the veining of quartzite, were used in 30x60 cm size to cover the striking indoor staircase and on the floor of a meeting room and, outdoors, around the perimeter of the building and on the large flight of steps leading to the entrance. The SistemN collection, in Grigio Scuro colour and bush-hammered texture, was chosen for the paving of the yard of a building in the complex chosen for less radical refurbishment.
