At Chambery, a ‘50s apartment has been renovated by two French architects and interior designers from Atelier Piola. To conserve this home’s warm, welcoming ambience, Atelier Piola opted for a restyling focused on conservation.  The heart of the apartment is the living area, with an irresistible personality. For an airier, lighter mood, the space was completely opened out to make a large lounge with show kitchen.

The chosen floor covering was Grande Marble Look Ghiara Palladiana and in the 120x120 cm size with thickness 6 mm and matt finish, used to create the black and white graphic motif and the retro stylistic effect.

In the bathroom area, the floors and walls were covered with Mystone Limestone in Sand Velvet finish, with a surface that feels warm to the touch, in the 75x75 cm size. Stoneware was chosen because it is tough, hardwearing and extremely easy to maintain and clean, all plus factors for everyday life.
