Villa Aurora

Isola KRK, Croatia

marazzi villa aurora 000.jpg

Ivana Babić designed Villa Aurora, standing on the farthest tip of the island of Krk. Designed to accommodate just a few guests, this holiday home comprises four bedrooms and a delightful furnished pool area, with a relaxing, shaded dining area.

Marazzi’s high professional standards and product quality were fundamental for the architect, who chose the Italian company as sole supplier of ceramic slabs. Grande Marble Look Statuario covers the floors in the living area and the walls of the four bathrooms, in the Lasa, Brera Grey and Golden White variants.

The marble effect also appears in the island and backsplash of the kitchen, where the The Top slabs in 12 mm thickness are a convenient, stylish solution, matching the floor coverings.

The staircase which takes guests to the upper floor is covered with the Treverktrend Rovere Scuro wood effect and marks a break with the living area, continued in the rooms, where Treverkhome is used in Frassino finish. Wood-effect stoneware also covers the wall of the outdoor relaxation area, which features a luxurious designer shower, created with The Top Marble Look Golden White slabs in 12 mm thickness, and a hydromassage tub. The incredibly hygienic, tough, hard-wearing The Top Marble Look Statuario slabs also form the tops of the dining and occasional tables in the outdoor area, proving their aesthetic and functional flexibility. The warm tones of High Performance stone-effect Mystone Limestone, on the other hand, highlight the pool area, with the innovative StepWise technology guaranteeing antislip properties. The series is available in three finishes, including Velvet and structured, in two sizes in 20 mm thickness and in the new 120x120 cm and 60x120 cm sizes in the 6 mm slimline thickness.
