Cafè Noir is a lounge bar in the heart of Reggio Calabria, recently refurbished by architect Consolato Alampi of Expodesign Studio. The style chosen for the venue is a mix of modernity and a vintage mood; the dark shades of grey on the walls and ceiling create a warm, elegant ambience and dialogue to perfection with the Blend stone-effect stoneware, chosen in the Brown colour and 60x60 cm size, and the delicate vein patterns of Grand Marble Look Capraia, selected in the 160x320 cm size. The Blend collection is inspired by the materials used for the construction of antique concrete structures and is the product chosen for the floor. Grande Marble Look, in the 6 mm slimline thickness, proved ideal for covering the bar counter, with a white Corian serving top. Grande is the Marazzi slab collection available in the 120x120, 120x240, 160x320 and 162x324 cm sizes and in two thicknesses, 6 and 12 mm, and is ideal for the design of kitchen and bathroom counters, backsplashes, tables and furnishings. Another marble-effect porcelain stoneware was selected for the washroom: the Allmarble collection in the elegant Saint Laurent glossy finish, size 60x120 cm. Ph Alfio Garozzo
