The Hotel Carlos V, in Sardinia, looks down on the sea front at Alghero, dominating its splendid coastline. The hotel's renovation project, overseen by architect Antonio Delogu, involved the complete restructuring of the foyer, all the ground floor washrooms and the lift area. The prestigious 5-star hotel was refurbished using marble-effect porcelain stoneware from the Allmarble collection and from the Grand Marble Look collection of 6 and 12 mm slabs, ideal for providing seamless continuity in design schemes. Grande Marble Look, chosen in the 120x120 and 120x240 cm sizes and Frappuccino and Lasa glossy finishes, covers the foyer's floor, pillars and counter, creating an interior in refined, elegant taste, continued in the washrooms, also designed with Grande. The Allmarble Lasa three-dimensional mosaic was selected to decorate the walls of the reception area and foyer, creating an intriguing contrast between the two different finishes: Lasa and Frappuccino.
