Millepiedi – Giardini del Palazzo della Triennale

Milano (MI) Italy

As part of the project undertaken to rehabilitate the grounds of the Palazzo della Triennale in Milan, the Marazzi Group contributed with Millepiedi (Millipede), a work by Aldo Cibic that joins other permanent installations by famous international designers, creating a showcase of architectural virtuosity. Millepiedi is an oversize bench “that makes adults feel like children” again and with its irregularly arranged legs it “almost seems to walk”. Made from resin and concrete and covered with 20x20 cm. ceramic tiles in tones of slate and tourmaline, it is a tongue-in-cheek, weather-resistant architectural piece that was constructed to last a long time.
