The new Casa Alitalia Lounge in Rome is a rest and refreshment area at the Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. The lounge, designed by the Marco Piva firm, is 1000 m2 in area and comprises various thematic areas, such as the relaxation area, the wine cellar and the show-cooking zone, designed to meet the requirements of all the different kinds of travellers. The Marazzi collections chosen for the lounge’s coverings are Treverkview, Memento and SistemP.
The floors of the foyer and the eating and relaxation areas were covered with a mix & match of Treverkview Tortora 20x120 cm wood-effect and Memento Silver 75x75 cm concrete-effect stonewares. Memento also proved ideal for covering the floors and walls of the lounge’s washrooms. In view of its outstanding technical features, SistemP Grigio 60x60 cm concrete-effect stoneware was selected for the kitchen floor covering.
