Lavazza’s new headquarters are located in the former Enel industrial area. The project, dubbed “Nuvola” (Cloud), is spread over an entire block in the city of Turin and covers an area of around 30,000 square metres. Designed by Cino Zucchi Architetti with RGAstudio, it contains the company’s new headquarters featuring state-of-the-art offices, as well as a company museum, a conference and events centre for hosting debates, cultural, musical and artistic events, and a bistrot designed for employees, which is also open to the public. Indeed, the concrete-effect porcelain stoneware tiles have found a perfect setting in Bistrot Lavazza. The different Mocha, White, Greige and Silver colours selected in the custom 25x75 cm size alternate with each other and create an intriguing geometric effect. The materials used for the dining room – wood, porcelain stoneware and wallpaper –, the large windows and the subtle, light colours of the furnishings help to create a familiar, homely atmosphere.
