Altamira 107

The modern Altamira 107 high-rises, in the northern part of the Venezuelan capital and in one of the city’s most elegant districts, Altamira, were created by property development company Grupo CDX and architect Fernando Agustí Domínguez of Arquitectura+Interiorismo of Barcelona, in partnership with Venezuelan architecture firm Scannone Rodríguez Arquitectos, which handled the architectural design. 

A luxury residential project with large volumes and simple lines, surrounded by a splendid garden with adjoining leisure areas and a large pool, offering a superb view of the city and Mount Ávila. It comprises 11 residential units with large floor to ceiling windows, spacious terraces and private gardens. 

The three different Marazzi porcelain stoneware collections chosen for the project’s ventilated walls accentuate the elegance of the exteriors with their combination of different material effects: the stone effect of Mystone Pietra Italia in Grigio shade in the 60x60 cm size alongside the concrete effect of the Block White collection in 60x120 cm size and Treverkever in Musk shade in 20x120 cm size with matt finish, an interpretation of wood and its natural veining. The paving materials installed in the outdoor areas were the porcelain stoneware slabs of the Mystone Pietra Italia collection in Grigio shade in the 60x60 cm square size, which offer the textures and shades of natural stone, and the Block Silver collection in 75x75 cm size, inspired by resin and with a trowelled surface. 

The architects selected the Marazzi products for the materials’ excellent technical performances and advanced technologies, especially considering the project’s geographical location in a tropical area, which requires particularly high resistance to atmospheric agents, and the variety of finishes offered.
