Versatile like stone

One of the key aspects of new trends centres on sustainability and environmental protection, with solutions that reaffirm the commitment to remain in constant contact with nature. This trend is evident in the tactile stone effects that dominate the world of finishes, opening up a range of unprecedented combinations between different textures across various scales, from macro to micro.

The stone effect persists in living spaces, supported by cutting-edge production technologies that guarantee hygiene, durability, and resistance, alongside an increasing use of recycled materials and a responsible raw material supply chain. Dimensional variety, compositional versatility, and material quality, achieved through the combination of Premium Technology 3D Ink and Touch, enable the Mystone series to be paired in diverse ways, even with small formats, for innovative and unexpected mix-and-match combinations.

Porcelain stoneware thus becomes the ideal medium to achieve the perfect balance between natural materials and its versatile applications, also combining eclectic large slabs with decorative solutions based on the repetition of small formats, capable of fragmenting the surface and imparting movement and unprecedented brilliance.

A new concept of decoration emerges, encompassing colour, texturisation and formats ranging from micro to macro. The glossiness and imperfection reminiscent of handmade majolica from Crogiolo Lume, the glazes, granules and natural oxides of Terramater, and the nostalgic terracotta, now tonalised and vibrant, of the tiles from Slow, find endless compositional combinations for both indoor and outdoor environments within the Mystone collections.

The new aesthetic dimensions of Marazzi’s stone collections capture the expressiveness of quarry stone with the deep, pronounced veining of Mystone Silver Root, the appearance of local slate in Mystone Pietra Ligure, and the uniqueness of Vicentine stone, characterised by warm tones and the presence of shells and microfossils, in Berici.

The pronounced veining set against the intense shades of Silver Root is achieved through 3D Ink technology, which creates a deeper, more detailed texture, delivering a remarkably realistic effect. To the Grey colour typical of natural stone, the new palette adds White and Beige.

The warm colours – Beige and Ash – and cool tones – White and Anthracite – of the Pietra Ligure collection enable alternating laying effects, as seen in the local tradition of the material. Combining graphics and textures, with highly realistic and tactile surfaces, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.

The Berici collection is offered in four light, natural shades – white, beige, grey, and ash – alongside a broad range of formats for surfaces that reinterpret the ancient sedimentary limestone characteristic of the Vicenza region.

Mystone presents a range of finishes that embody Italian construction heritage while transcending mere natural imitation, opening new avenues for application through experimentation with decorative elements and linguistic and material crossovers.
