The hotel sector requires unique, one-off design schemes, in contact with the natural world and the identity of the location. Architectural projects seek surfaces that evoke local materials, decorative styles and traditions, reinterpreted in interiors contemporary in concept and language. To enable this, Marazzi presents a very rich offering of ceramic surfaces, able to evoke the location’s identity: from limestones that reference the Italian Baroque of southern Italy (Alba and Uniche), to exquisite marbles that recall the ancient quarries at Carrara (Allmarble), and from Ceppo di Gré, the stone of Milan Cathedral, widely used in the rationalist buildings of Lombardy (Mystone Ceppo di Gré) to Green Aver, the historic marble quarried in the Val d'Aosta (Grande Marble Look Verde Aver).

Materials with a distinctive identity, but above all with the performance and strength characteristics demanded by communal areas which, in the hotel sector, are finished with coverings that run seamlessly from outdoors to indoors (Uniche) and, in general, with surfaces resistant to weather, stains and wear. Marazzi ceramic coverings offer a wide range of shades in both marble and stone effects (Allmarble, Mystone, Grande Stone Look, Grande Marble Look), available in multiple sizes for the creation of original mix & match combinations of materials. They also enable the juxtaposition of vertical and horizontal surfaces thanks to graphic and decorative effects (Art, Crogiolo Scenario), or the evocation of more metropolitan moods, as with the Grande Concrete Look and SistemS collections, with a mottled concrete effect. Last but not least, Marazzi offers a wide assortment of wood effect collections, such as Vero which recalls the warmth and the pleasantly tactile surface of oak with a surprisingly accurate reproduction of the natural material.

The large slab wall coverings are ideal for creating striking interiors and spatial panels and emphasising and adorning areas of foyers or communal areas, with the aid of the bookmatch effects (Grande Marble Look), which form impressive graphic motifs on walls, or using thicknesses that construct three-dimensional patterns (Eclettica). There are no limits in either practical or creative terms to the styling of unique interiors where the stunning design matches the quality of the hospitality and services.
