Carácter wins the MUUUZ International Awards

The ‘Best Flooring Material” prize goes to Carácter, the new stone-look collection manufactured with the Puro Marazzi Antibacterial technology
French architecture and design magazine Muuuz has chosen the new Marazzi antibacterial stoneware Carácter as one of the winners at the latest edition of the MIAW (Muuuz International Awards).
Carácter’s timeless design was chosen as a ‘Best of’ due to the innovative technologies intrinsic to this stone-look collection: Puro Marazzi Antibacterial, the new antibacterial technology for ceramic surfaces that eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria and other harmful microorganisms, and StepWise™, a new production process patented by Marazzi that creates soft-touch surfaces with exceptionally high slip resistance properties. Carácter combines these technological benefits with a “green” soul: the collection is manufactured with 40% recycled material.
Specifically, Muuuz magazine selected Carácter as the best flooring product due to its antimicrobial properties and its architectural versatility, which makes it perfect for residential and contract projects.
