A building in harmony with its surroundings

The Allmarble Travertino collection by Marazzi was chosen for Villa Vlad in Forte dei Marmi, also for the paving of the outdoor space and the exclusive, newly built infinity pool, nominated “Best residential swimming-pool 2018”.

Contrasting materials and colours were chosen for the restyling project of Villa Vlad in Forte dei Marmi, in the province of Lucca, by architect Michele Vitaloni of Charmitaliastudio. For this 1970s-built private residence, the designer chose to maintain the original materials of natural stone and wood, adding new elements in corten steel, dark wood and travertine.

The project is dominated by the Allmarble collection by Marazzi in the colour Travertino, reinterpreting the elegance of this particular marble but with excellent technical characteristics thanks to the company’s exclusive production technologies. The 40x120 cm extra-thick (20 mm) Allmarble Travertino tiles were used for the outdoor spaces surrounding the villa and to clad the pool, while the 60x120 cm size with natural finish bonded with wood was chosen for the lounge floor and to dress the fireplace in the living area.
