Villa Antiparos

Antiparos Greece

Villa Antiparos, designed by Peia Associati and 2016 winner of the residential category in the La Ceramica e il Progetto (Ceramic Tiles and Architecture) competition, is a minimalist, contemporary home in Greece that consists of a series of white blocks with regular geometrical shapes, arranged around a courtyard. The Brooklyn White concrete-look stoneware collection proved the ideal choice for tiling the entire villa and establishing a dialogue with its natural surroundings and the architectural style of the Cyclades. The various sizes chosen (45x90, 30x120, 60x120, 30x60, 60x60, 90x90 cm) supply the basis for a fascinating floor pattern and bestow a sense of natural movement.
