Industrial style with a gourmet soul: the Progettozerodue firm’s project offers a contemporary take on a supermarket.

Not merely a restyling, but a project to re-functionalize spaces: for the Decò shop in Sant’Arpino, Caserta, the Progettozerodue firm has redesigned the rooms and enlarged the sales areas to completely rethink the merchandise route, giving the shop an industrial style based on clear lines and understated, minimalist colours for an unconventional shopping experience.

Both the interior and exterior were restyled to create a more modern and functional space in line with the brand’s visual identity: large and minimal spaces, urban style and a very contemporary mix of a concrete effect and exposed brickwork characterise the project, the result of meticulous work guided by the choice of high-quality materials carefully selected for their intended use.

The choice of flooring was paramount for the appearance of the entire space, made with products from the Market porcelain stoneware collection in the Cement Smoke version, used over more than one thousand square metres: the Market range gives the surfaces a distinct concrete effect, guaranteeing high performance for shopping and consumption venues with maximum abrasion resistance thanks to its extra-thick 14 mm version.

The designers complemented the concrete effect used for the flooring with the Bricco porcelain stoneware collection for most of the wall coverings, which reintroduces the historic charm of exposed brickwork, giving the space an urban deco style. Carbone and Avorio shades were used inside the supermarket, imbuing the space with sophisticated, contemporary colours: the alternation of light and dark walls defines the volumes of the rooms, creating a clear and readily comprehensible visual order, accompanying customers on a shopping journey that evokes the aesthetics of a restaurant.
