Serre dei Giardini Margherita

The old “Serre”, or “Greenhouses” of the Giardini Margherita provide Bologna with a metropolitan hub, a location for exhibitions, training courses and events, also containing co-working offices and catering outlets. The Kilowatt architecture firm has carried out an urban regeneration project in and around the Serre, focusing on the recovery and conversion to new uses of features linked to the traditional urban park concept. The building’s emblem and symbol is the greenhouse itself, renovated and used as the foyer for the entire complex and finished throughout with cement tiles from the Marazzi Block collection.
