Scrigno, a manufacturer of counterframes for retractable sliding doors and windows, entrusted the redevelopment of its headquarters to architectural firms Pampa and Giacobbi Venturini Ferrini. The new design of the headquarters, located in Santarcangelo di Romagna in the province of Rimini, entailed the creation of Scrigno Lab, a dynamic space that includes the showroom and the rooms for conferences and company training. The exterior area was also renovated: the large paved square was transformed into a leafy area that forms the nucleus between the company’s various buildings (offices, warehouses and production facilities). For the panoramic terrace, the designers opted for a raised floor with 40x120 cm Mystone Pietra di Vals Antracite stone-effect porcelain stoneware with a thickness of 20 mm, while 60x120 cm Mystone Pietra di Vals Antracite was chosen for the walkways in the square. In addition to the walkways, Mystone Pietra di Vals was also used for the seats, the garden’s ornamental water feature, the desk in the conference room and the showroom. Ph Elodie Cavallaro
