Decorating a villa by exploiting the versatility of stoneware - 1
Villa LC

Introducing a new way to use a material means having a broad design vision. Such was the case in the DFG architectural firm’s project for this private villa in the Ragusa area, where, for certain parts of the facades, in place of more traditional components, the choice fell on the unusual wood effect of Marazzi’s Treverkever porcelain stoneware, selected in the 20x120 cm size in the warm Sand colour, which contrasts with the building’s recurring dark elements. To ensure a seamless aesthetic, the same finish was used in for the plant boxes and stairs leading to the entrance of the house. The Stonework stone-effect series in White was chosen for the poolside area due to its safe anti-grip surface.
