Mallol Design House

After 40 years in business, the Mallol architecture firm decided to build itself a new headquarters at Bellavista, in the heart of Panama City. The new building, called the Mallol Design House, houses more than 250 offices, 9 lecture theatres, a bar, an auditorium and a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, overlooking Panama Bay. The pool and the adjoining room were finished with Marazzi Mystone Pietra di Vals Greige stone-effect porcelain stoneware. For the zone around the pool, the collection was used as a raised floor in its structured version 20 mm thick, in the 40x120 cm size, with the 60x120 cm size chosen for the adjoining room. The structured surface used for the poolside area is anti-slip to give a perfect grip even when barefoot.
