Boasting a breathtaking view of the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro in Taormina is the perfect place for relaxation. The building is a recently restored early-20th century villa. In 2020, the spa was renovated by architect Teresa Cammara from Messina, who restyled the basement floor: a “foundation structure” with a breathtaking view, with amazing design potential.
The spa, 240 m2 in area, is in almost total white. The Allmarble Statuario structured porcelain stoneware large slabs by Marazzi, in 60x120 cm size, alternate with decorative panels created using two colours from the Allmarble Lasa collection (lux and satin) in 60x120 cm, cut to size as required.
Allmarble Frappuccino lux and Allmarble Saint Laurent lux (60x120 cm) were chosen for the wall coverings of the bathrooms, Turkish bath and emotional shower; placed in the innermost area, they evoke the impression of being in underground caves carved by water.
