The new Headquarters of this young, rapidly expanding brand on the international fashion scene is a multipurpose complex housing the executive offices, the pattern making department, an auditorium for events and fashion shows, a cafeteria and a large warehouse. The building was designed by Guido Canali, one of the masters of contemporary architecture in Italy, and is remarkable for the dialogue he has created between a rigorous and essential working area and the attention he has devoted to the “atmosphere” perceived in the environment, with garden patios, suspended walkways, an abundance of indoors plants and the views of the surroundings through the large plate glass windows. The rigorous functional layout, with compact volumes made of exposed concrete, is mitigated by the continuous raised floor covering the offices and production unit in the complex, creating a welcoming, homelike atmosphere thanks to the warm and soft colour of the fine Iroko wood. Marazzi Engineering supplied the raised floor as a “turnkey” solution, from the final plans to the supply of materials and the site installation.
