Grand Hotel Adriatic
A 5-star vacation at the Grand Hotel Adriatic with its breathtaking view of the sea. A hotel with modern styling and large elegant rooms, with a design characterised by selected materials and colours and the use of large size marble and wood-effect porcelain stoneware slabs.
The Grand Hotel Adriatic is located in Opatija, the renowned tourist town on the east coast of Istria, Croatia, at the feet of Mount Učka and facing onto the Kvarner Gulf, a contemporary eight-storey structure at walking distance from the sea, facing the water over the beachfront esplanade. The hotel has 317 rooms and suites, all elegantly furnished with the very best in comfort. Each room is designed down to the last detail, with special attention to the use of materials, both functionally and stylistically.
Marazzi collections play a leading role in the project, lending their unmistakable character to the rooms. The charm of classic marble with its contrasting veining, alternating light and dark colours that recreate an infinity of shades thanks to digital technology, are reinterpreted in all their uniqueness in the large porcelain stoneware slabs of the Grande Marble Look collection, in the Golden White, Saint Laurent and Frappucino versions, with the 120x240 cm size in the common areas. The walls of the luxurious Adriatic Sky Spa on the hotel’s eighth floor, enclosed by large windows with an incredible view over the sea, are clad with large size Grande Marble Look Frappuccino slabs.
The floors leverage an alternation of different textures; concrete effect from the Terratech collection, in the 75x75 cm size, a technical collection that makes the most of the bond between material and colour and represents the new frontier of Marazzi’s high performance products, thanks to the integration of StepWise anti-slip technology, in the Cannella, Avorio and Senape colours, accompanied by the Vero outdoors collection (in the 20 mm thickness) here in the Rovere colour and 40x120 cm size, which reproduces the tones and finish of natural wood. The rooms and suites feature Grande Marble Look slabs in the Imperiale, Calacatta Extra and Elegant Black colours on the bathroom floors and walls, for an elegant contemporary look.
