Dolce Factory

The port of Bar, Montenegro’s largest, is the regular calling-point of the merchant vessels and ferries that ply between southern Dalmatia and the other Adriatic ports, and is particularly busy in the summer months.

Anyone strolling along the waterfront is sure to be struck by the original mx of colours of Dolce Factory, a pastry shop designed by Art & Craft: bright velvet, interwoven hanging features, tropical wallpaper and an elegant floor in Allmarble marble-effect stoneware by Marazzi, installed in long continuous stripes which alternate Elegant Black with the white Statuario. Crogiolo Lume tiles are used just as cleverly, in the 6x24 size; in its green glossy finish, this porcelain stoneware produces fascinating colour variations on the wall behind the bar.
