Museo Amaro Lucano

A family of entrepreneurs, now in its fourth generation, decides to refurbish old premises to tell the history of its brand and the product it has been making since the late Nineteenth Century. The result is the Amaro Lucano Museum at Pisticci, near Matera in southern Italy.

The visitor experience starts from the building’s herb garden, where the thirty herbs used in the liqueur can be touched and smelt, which leads into the exhibition area, where the dominant feature is Mystone Ceppo di Gré20. This is an ultra-tough surface in 6 and 20 millimetre thicknesses for all possible indoor and outdoor combinations, inspired by the well known, typically Italian rock of the same name with its included pebbles of different particle sizes.
