About a hundred architects and design professionals were at Bianco’s Studio in Düsseldorf on 8 November for the final stage of the 2012 German Roadshow organised by Marazzi in association with the architecture journal AIT. Once again, the creative competition with the small Progetto Triennale tiles proved a great success, as guests had fun producing their creations, with gifts of food and wine from Italy’s Emilia Region awarded to the three most original compositions.

The evening’s guest of honour, Franco Tagliabue Volontè of Studio ifdesign, Milan, gave a fascinating talk on the role of decoration in architecture.

Those attending also showed great interest in the ceramic tile collections on display: Treverkhome, Treverksign, SistemN, ColorUp and, of course, Progetto Triennale.
