All the charm of time-worn wood in Treverkdear porcelain stoneware

The collection for those looking for the beauty of old wood and the practicality of stoneware

Although wood is a material that will never go out of fashion in architecture, there is no doubt that wood trends change over time. After years of products that featured an ultra-minimalist, clean, modern design, today the most popular style is certainly wood with a time-worn look.

Parquet floors are also treated to produce a perfectly “aged” effect in order to satisfy this widespread taste, which favours the charm of the past and imperfection.

The same philosophy underlies Marazzi’s new Treverkdear wood-effect stoneware collection, inspired by the large planks of old wooden floors.

The veining is that of oak wood, which is particularly appreciated for its warmth. The three available variants of Treverkdear – Beige, Brown and Natural – enhance the natural look of wood, with three different colour shades ranging from light to dark.

The size also evokes old planks with 25×150 cm and 20×120 cm variants. Treverkdear is also available in a 20 mm extra-thick version, enabling continuity between indoor and outdoor coverings.

For a perfect interior inspired by historic Italian building materials, Treverkdear can be combined with Pinch, the collection that recreates another floor typical of period houses, Venetian Seminato on a square and rectangular size.

Or with D_Segni, the collection that recreates the charm of handmade cement tiles in the classic 20×20 cm size. Try, for example, combining Treverkdear planks with a portion of floor covered with D_Segni cement tile-look tiles to recreate a very striking floor decoration.

Treverkdear can also be perfectly combined with Fresco, the stoneware that reproduces a plaster look to create a wabi-sabi-inspired space.
