Rossana Dian, tell us about your vision of wellness and health.

Wellness represents many things: self-care, beauty in everyday life, and healthy eating. But there is one factor above all that I firmly believe in: self-esteem, which is the driving force for better living because it leads you to make better and fairer choices for yourself and the life you wish to lead. That is why it is essential to love yourself, which can be done in many different ways: through personal care; by making conscious choices, such as when we choose what to put on our tables every day; by safeguarding our Mother Earth, to whom we owe so much. There are fundamentally important values that are instilled in me, including credibility, which I want and need to convey through my Cucinosano, Balique and AMADĒA Home brands.

Each of the three companies you founded represents different interpretations of well-being.

Cucinosano stems from a reflection that is both simple and revealing: does it make sense to choose high-quality raw materials and then cook them in pots that contain substances that are toxic to health? By contrast, the Balique haircare and skincare line aims to combine balance and uniqueness, i.e. respect for the characteristics that distinguish each person to whom we offer, should they have an imperfection, high-performance, honest products. Finally, the AMADĒA Home line of natural household cleaning products is a direct consequence of the thinking behind Cucinosano: products with 100% recycled plastic packaging, free of toxic substances such as PFAS (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl substances), microplastics and heavy metals, and with formulations based on natural, vegan and biodegradable, and IFRA-certified (International Fragrance Association) ingredients. In other words, products that are friendly not only to humans but also to the environment. Each of the three brands tells a story of sustainability and respect for health.

There has been more than one collaboration with Marazzi Group. What connects you?

Our common focus is certainly the end customer’s well-being. With Marazzi, we created porcelain stoneware chopping boards aimed at creating an experience that would bring customers a higher value, the most fundamental value for me: health. And Marazzi proved to be the right choice. We have designed chopping boards with marble-effect tops with an antibacterial treatment. And that is the real advantage: the certainty that your tool will not easily wear out, become potentially contaminated and be made of inferior material. Together with Marazzi, we developed the antibacterial porcelain stoneware kitchen covering for Cucinosano. We are among the first to have experimented with it by cooking on it and we are really proud of it. As mentioned, the end customer’s well-being is paramount for us. Innovation, research, technology and precision allow us to achieve this important and heartfelt goal through our products.
