The welcoming warmth of Treverkchic for a chocolate company in Turin
reading time: 9 minutes

A company with a strong artisanal heritage finds the perfect interpretation of its DNA in the warmth of wood-effect stoneware by Marazzi in warm American walnut.
La Perla di Torino is a modern, dynamic, enterprising company whose products of exquisite quality are appreciated and sold around the world.
These characteristics are also fully conveyed through the innovative format chosen for the production premises, featuring an open production laboratory.
The design of the interior layout, by MB Studio, succeeds in radically transforming spaces that were formerly used only as offices. To organise the interior layout, the architectural team drew on the company’s production cycle: creating a linking element that ties together the office area and the laboratory, is a large glazed wall that allows visual - and operational - continuity between the two areas. The space features a series of technical-operational spaces related to the production cycle.
As regards the design choice in terms of materials, the floating floor in the office area is in Treverkchic in the 30x120 cm size. This collection, extremely faithful to the material from which it draws inspiration, has clear artisanal overtones and manages to fully capture the mood of the flagship store. In addition, the feeling of warmth created by this wood-effect stoneware chosen in the Noce Americano shade, fills the entire space and makes it very welcoming.
Meanwhile, a collection characterised by exceptional technical performance was the preferred choice for the flooring of the technical-operational spaces, a customised version of SistemN with extra thickness – 14 mm – particularly suitable for commercial settings.
