This year’s theme, Time of Beauty, celebrates beauty in its many forms: the beauty of products, surfaces, art and technology.
Five days of events and entertainment that unveil the latest trends in ceramics and Marazzi’s new collections, with exclusive itineraries dedicated to the beauty of products, surfaces and technologies, as well as art, nature and the good life: Tile Week 2024, now in its third edition at Marazzi Group’s headquarters in Sassuolo, in the heart of the Italian ceramic manufacturing district, is an immersive journey into design and innovation.
An unprecedented mix of live and virtual events – including a preview of the new app for Apple Vision, with which users can immerse themselves in a stunningly realistic virtual 3D kitchen, or tour the Marazzi factory in augmented reality – that articulates the theme of beauty in its innumerable forms and meanings.
Alongside the showrooms and workshops, where visitors can experience for themselves the latest products from Marazzi and Ragno, the new The Top slabs, and the new Touch and 3D Ink technologies, there are active and inclusive collaborations with well-known furniture and design brands, architects, designers and local craftsmen, all ambassadors of the same values of sustainability as the company itself: beauty, technology, art and innovation at the service of people and their well-being.
The most unexpected encounters are the large vegetable garden created together with Rossana Dian and CucinoSano, the bar decorated with flowers and small ceramic pieces, porcelain stoneware ping-pong tables, where you can also have lunch or talk about work (with Lava, Gio Tirotto and Il Magma), works in charred wood by Riccardo Monte, and a majestic Aphrodite by Luca Pignatelli, courtesy of Galleria Poggiali, observing from above the magic of spatial computing, the new 3D glasses and the hyper-technological kitchens made with Signature Kitchen Suite, in which chefs prepare healthy, simple delicacies created by Rossana Dian.
Open throughout Tile Week and up to 4 November 2024 at Palazzo Ducale – Gallerie Estensi, the exhibition ‘Marazzi, le linee veloci‘ celebrates, in Gianni Berengo Gardin’s unpublished shots, the 50th anniversary of Marazzi’s revolutionary single-firing patent: 42 images in which the great master of Italian photography, with his “precise care and subtle poetry” – to quote the exhibition’s curator, Alessandra Mauro – was able to “freeze the colourful, rapid tempo of the changing world of work ”.
