The tactile expressive power of ceramics - 1

A dream villa and a sculpted yet functional landscape. Marazzi’s two installations at Cersaie 2021 presented by Luca Bevini, Vice President Sales Export. For anyone unable to be there, or for those who have seen them but want to be inspired again.

At Cersaie 2021, we transported you into a dream villa in the desert , with materials that bond with the natural features and colours of the landscape. The ceramic materials appear throughout the mansion in a continuous interplay between inside and outside, in a seamless flow. The materials chosen generate contrasts between materials themselves, between glossy and matt finishes, and between large and small sizes. The domestic interiors also illustrate the versatility of porcelain stoneware for furnishing solutions, which are practical, hygienic and high-performing.

An overview of the latest innovations in the Marazzi collections reveals the potentials for use of the Marazzi Premium Technologies – from the StepWise anti-slip surface to the antibacterial action with integral silver ions of Puro Marazzi Antibacterial, from the tactile substance of BodyPlus to the extremely high resolution digital printing of Sublime Sync and the super-matt Zero Glossy surfaces – for an ever-widening range of applications from kitchens to outdoor areas, and from spas to pools.

And to conclude, in the sculpted landscape of the Marazzi Hub we saw a mix & match using the Marazzi Grande collections. Large-size stone, marble, metal, resin and wood effect porcelain stoneware slabs were applied to floors, vertical coverings and furniture surfaces. They illustrated the potential in custom made projects of elegant, sophisticated materials with ever-enhanced technological features and sustainability.
