Used to clad the swimming pool basin and external walls, Lume evokes the beauty of handmade majolica bricks, thanks to advanced production technology and meticulous research into glazes and colours. Its glossy surfaces, chromatic variations, and apparent imperfections impart an authentic vitality to the spaces, capable of capturing light, reflecting the landscape, and evoking emotion with every detail.
Always in the spirit of decorative tradition, Marazzi’s Scenario collection draws inspiration — through tone-on-tone brushstrokes — from the authentic charm of the majolica tiles typical of Mediterranean architecture.
At Villa Gran Mare, in Tarquinia Lido, the Scenario collection is expressed through the white and blue duo, with the Tappeto 2 decoration, chosen to clad the entire house and the outdoor kitchen area, creating a refined and old fashioned atmosphere. At the penthouse Terrace between the Two Seas in Taranto, Scenario is reborn in the Tappeto 1 variant in black and white, bestowing character and modernity upon the spaces with a contemporary nod to the ceramic surfaces of our material culture.
Among the most captivating and tactile surfaces for outdoor spaces is Cementum20, a two-centimetre-thick slab that reproduces with remarkable fidelity the appearance and texture of cast concrete. Finally, in Cervia, in the province of Ravenna, the renewal project of Villetta Volturno — a typical Sixties residence overlooking the coastline — celebrates tradition through its iconic travertine marble façade. This precious characteristic extends into the outdoor spaces through the Mystone Travertino Classico collection, which naturally and elegantly recreates the veins and colours of the original material, imparting continuity and authenticity to the entire building.
