The unique beauty of Vicenza stone, with its delicate warm colouring and included shells and microfossils, is evoked in the Mystone Berici collection. This stone-effect porcelain stoneware incorporates the most exquisite characteristics of a material that features in prehistoric rock carvings and found its highest expression in Palladian architecture.
The perfect matching of patterning and structures in the ceramic surface, achieved through the 3D Ink Premium Technology, underlines the expressive and technical potentials of the latest production innovations, which make this material incredibly realistic.
Mystone Berici is available in four natural, pale shades – Bianco, Beige, Grigio and Cenere – and a vast assortment of sizes (square 120×120 cm, 75×75 cm and 60×60 cm, rectangular 75×150 cm and 60×120 cm and large slabs of 160×320 cm and 120×178 cm in 6 mm thickness) to enable the widest possible range of uses, such as for covering floors and walls or in indoor and outdoor installations (the latter in 120×120 cm, 60×60 cm and 60×120 cm versions). The Berici collection’s new, specially created mixes include incorporated chips, meaning that edges maintain the same appearance even after cutting. This specific aesthetic feature is particular noticeable in the Flora three-dimensional decors and in the Righe structure, which highlight the surface’s depth and continuity of substance. Flora also incorporates the Touch technology, in which glossy and matt vitreous grits are deposited on the surface to enhance the impression of depth and the realism of the material. The vast Berici range is completed by the three-dimensional Mosaic Strip tile in size 60×120 cm for creating decorative effects within a room, such as panel or carpet features, or for contemporary or more classical interior designs.
From the open-air spaces of a country villa to the minimalist moods of a town flat, the range of ambiences that can be achieved with the Berici collection’s compositional versatility is truly immense. In spite of the material’s variegation, the intensity of colour of the background mix and incorporated chips of the Berici tiles is similar and this permits a wide range of combinations, such as with woods, as the collection teams up attractively with their warm shades, or with other stone-effect stonewares with more striking contrasts and veining. Mystone Berici is also effective in the matt finish thanks to the softness derived from the calcium carbonate contained in the original rock.
