The evening dedicated to the world of design, organised together with the Cannes Maison de l’Architecture association, was held on Monday 19 November in the Marazzi Cannes showroom at Le Cannet in France.
After listening to the short presentations on the company and the bond between modern architecture and ceramics, the more than 60 architects, interior designers and design professionals attending competed in the creative challenge using miniature ‘Triennale’ tiles produced in SistemA, SistemN and SistemL materials.
At the end of the evening, the three most original compositions received prizes of food and wine specialities from Italy’s Emilia region. First prize was awarded to Jean-Claude Fracchia of Atelier JCP Architectes; together with the other winners, he will take place in the final draw for a trip to Italy for 2 people.
After Paris in September and Cannes in November, the next stage in Marazzi’s journey into the world of design will be Lyon, where on 5 December the Marazzi showroom will host a ‘portesouvertes’ day, to meet the city’s architects and professionals.
