Marazzi @ Fuori Salone 2015: the scheduling. - 1

On the occasion of the 54th edition of the International Furniture Fair, from Tuesday 14 April to Sunday 19 April 2015, Marazzi will be represented at No. 2 via Borgogna, in the San Babila district.

The showroom, open from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 from 10 a.m. until 9 p. m. continuously and Sunday 19 April from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., is devoting its windows to two of the collections featured in the current advertising campaign, which began only very recently: the Mystone Pietra di Vals and Gris Fleury collections.

Marazzi will also be participating in the ‘Energy for Creativity’ initiative, an event sponsored by the architectural magazine Interni, together with the Piuarch Studio of Milan, presenting an installation entitled ‘Punti di Vista’ (Points of View).

The exhibition will be held from 13 April to 24 May 2015 in the cloisters of the State University of Milan, in keeping with the major theme of Expo 2015 ‘Feeding the planet, Energy for life’.

The geometric modules which are being used to create ‘Punti di Vista’ are covered on the outside with tiles from the Mystone Gris Fleury collection, while the inside is characterized by extremely eye-catching colorful patchwork effects created with the thin Colorup wall tiles and the distinctive Progetto Triennale SistemA four curve tiles.

For the occasion the Piuarch Studio paid homage to the brilliant designer, Gio Ponti, and to Marazzi, designing the #puntidivista tile: featuring one concave side, one convex side and two flat sides, providing infinite compositional possibilities.

This project, by means of engaging reflective effects and unconventional points of view, encourages visitors to look into, look at and through the forms, to take selfies and other photos, posting them on the various social networks, including Instagram.
