Marazzi at Paris Design Week 2025: an invitation to discover materiality

Reading time minutes

Marazzi will participate in Paris Design Week 2025, from 4 to 13 September, as part of the Promenade Project: an opportunity to explore the new showroom installation on Boulevard Saint-Germain, where large ceramic slabs take centre stage in a convivial and sensory environment.

From 4 to 13 September 2025, Paris will transform into an open-air creative laboratory with the latest edition of Paris Design Week, an event celebrating design in all its forms, engaging showrooms, galleries, studios and cultural institutions through a rich programme of events and installations. Among the thematic routes, the Promenade Project invites visitors to discover the city’s most iconic spaces through immersive experiences and design narratives.

Within this context, Marazzi renews its engagement with the French capital by participating in the Promenade Project, which invites visitors to explore some of the city’s most iconic spaces, and by opening the doors of its showroom on Boulevard Saint-Germain, completely redesigned to provide a sensory and immersive experience. Designed as a space to be truly experienced, it welcomes visitors with a scenography that creates a dialogue between material, light and colour.

The undisputed focal point is a large convivial kitchen, crafted using the new 160×320 cm The Top Silver Root White slabs, visible also from outside thanks to expansive windows overlooking the boulevard. The surface, enhanced by 3D Ink technology, reveals stunning detail and depth, transforming the kitchen into an architectural feature of striking visual impact.

The project unfolds through bold material contrasts: the elegant Calacatta Supreme slabs engage in dialogue with the small artisanal formats Crogiolo Terramater Losanga and Lume Swing, creating plays of light and three-dimensional geometries. The wall beside the staircase is clad in Infinity Antracite, a ceramic stone characterised by tone-on-tone pebbles, delivering a sophisticated and striking effect.

This new interpretation of the Parisian space honours Marazzi’s vision, which for 90 years has explored the expressive potential of ceramics, transforming every surface into a story of materiality and design.
