Marazzi at Küchenmeile - 1

Marazzi takes part in the German market’s biggest kitchen world event, organised by the manufacturers based in the Bielefeld district. The new The Top porcelain stoneware slabs are on show at three main locations.

“The Kitchen Mile”: Bielefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia is home to about thirty producers who come together in the A30 Küchenmeile eV association: as a group, they account for two thirds of total kitchen furniture sales on the German market. This makes Küchenmeile the biggest event for local players in the industry. It sets out not only to survey the latest trends in kitchen furniture, household appliances, sinks and accessories but also to discuss issues and inputs from customers.

Specialist kitchen dealers, trade cooperatives, large stores and designers and architects from Germany and the adjoining countries are invited to attend three interconnected events: they can visit the “Küchenmeile” producers’ district, view the M.O.W. furniture show and explore area30, the exhibition and marketplace specialising in kitchen design and technology.

To coincide with this major event, Marazzi will be featuring in the displays of leading players in the kitchen world, who will be exhibiting The Top, the collection of large porcelain stoneware slabs for covering kitchen counters, tables, backsplashes and furnishings.

Large slabs of Marble Look Verde Borgogna clad the counter and backsplash of one of the modern kitchens displayed in the Smeg household appliances showroom, while another marble effect, Quarzo Bluegrey, bestows character and elegance combined with the convenience of porcelain stoneware on the composition exhibited by RWK & Kuhlmann Küchen. As well as the very latest new products, various items from The Top collection will also be on show on the premises of other leading kitchen producers.

In fact, resistant to impacts, abrasions, cuts, heat and detergent, these slabs have a waterproof, non-porous, non-toxic, easily sanitised surface. Today these characteristics are further enhanced by the Puro Premium Technology: the Puro Marazzi Antibacterial The Top special edition (size 162x324 cm, thickness 12 mm, in six variants) renders surfaces suitable for preparing or eating food, since the state-of-the-art antimicrobial technology actively combats the bacteria’s metabolism, blocking their reproduction and also impeding the growth of food-borne pathogens.
