Inauguration the Marazzi showroom in Hamburg
reading time: 2 minutes

There was an excellent atmosphere on Wednesday evening at Friedrich-Ebert-Damm 145 in Hamburg, at the opening of the first Marazzi showroom in Germany, organised in association with AIT architecture journal.
The inauguration was also the core stage in the programme of the Roadshow that started in Berlin a few weeks ago.The new premises of about 500 m2, designed by our artistic director, the architect Gianluca Rossi, welcomed about 200 people, including customers, architects and designers. The event was hosted by CEO Maurizio Piglione who underlined, after greeting guests, that “Germany has been a very important market for Marazzi since the ‘70s” and that “Hamburg is a strategic city, not only for Germany but for the whole of northern Europe”.
It was then the turn of Matteo Davoli, who emphasised the new showroom’s importance as a fundamental tool for intensifying dialogue with architects and designers and as point of reference for our customers in Germany. The last speaker was internationally famous Italian architect Cino Zucchi, who talked about the important relationship between ceramic coverings and architecture, presenting some of his own most significant projects.
Just as in Berlin, the guests in Hamburg had great fun taking part in the creative game with the little “Triennaline” tiles, using them to create jigsaw puzzles of different shapes and colours
