The Centre occupies about 1000 m2 within the Casiglie production location, the plant that incorporates the ceramic coverings industry’s best, most high-tech manufacturing technologies which the Marazzi Group opened in 2010. It provides classrooms with modern equipment for teaching and skill updating, a large library-reading area, an audio-visuals area and a lecture theatre with more than 100 seats.

The Centre was designed by Uainot Architetti of Bologna, which renovated a former laboratory and office building in a project with the lowest possible impact in terms of construction waste and building sustainability and flexibility, achieved in part through the use of a raised floor.
The new Training Centre is a major step in the development plan the Group has implemented in Italy during the last two years, with over 100 million euro of investments completed, especially in groundbreaking new products and technologies.
