French architecture and design magazine Muuuz has chosen Crogiolo, the Marazzi small-size tile series, as one of the winners at the latest edition of the MIAW (Muuuz International Awards) in the ‘Layout, materials and coverings’ category.

Established by French journal MUUUZ in 2013, every year the MIAW (Muuuz International Awards) select the most outstanding products in the field of architecture, interior design and decoration.

The Muuuz editorial committee has chosen the Crogiolo series as one of the winners at the latest edition of the MIAW Design Awards, in the ‘Layout, materials and coverings’ category. Crogiolo is a collection of small-size ceramic and stoneware tiles with tactile surfaces, solid colours and a vast array of decorative pieces, created by combining skilled craftsmanship and leading-edge industrial technology. The award reflects the French online journal’s appreciation of the Marazzi collection’s aesthetic and design aims: Crogiolo is a blend of craftsmanship, originality, creativity and experience in both technology and research.

special mention was awarded to Confetto, the new collection of small-size porcelain stoneware tiles with uneven, semi-matt, soft-touch surfaces, produced in a closed-cycle process that saves natural resources. Available in 12 warm and cool solid shades, Confetto is the ideal tool for the interior design of residential and contract locations with an appeal immune to passing fashions.

The awards ceremony was held in Paris on 6 June.
