Marazzi teams up with world-acclaimed Italian architect Mario Cucinella for the exhibition organized each year by Interni during the Salone del Mobile fair. This year's theme - Hybrid Architecture & Design - promotes closer relations and exchange between different cultures and new technologies.
Mario Cucinella designed a monolithic cube for Marazzi covered in hexagonal SistemN dot tiles, inspired by the theme of human wellbeing and the need to safeguard air quality. The project fuses together new technologies applied to ceramics with new technologies applied to air purification. The exhibition runs from Monday 8th to Sunday 21st April 2013 from 10 am to 9 pm at the Statale University of Milan (via Festa del Perdono 7). 'Aria Pura' is located in the “Cortile d’Onore”, the courtyard opposite the main university entrance.
