29/09/08 Marazzi, Ragno and Hatria at Cersaie '08
1000 square meters designed by the architect Marco Romanelli for Marazzi and Ragno, where ceramic tiles are used as real construction elements in their own right...

from the outside, the Group’s exhibition area at Cersaie (Bologna, Italy) looks like a ceramic tile-clad fortress, housing a large reception-area where ceramic tiles play the leading role, in colors that contrast strongly with the covering of the outside. The Marazzi area has a cross-shaped ground plan with a central area and 4 rooms in which the new Marazzi collections range from products with outstanding technical properties to products in classical taste, with truly exquisite design. In the Ragno area, designed by another architect, Mr Cesaretti, the focus is on large wall compositions where the product is used to create contemporary domestic scenarios. Large two-sided walls covered in porcelain tiles with the new Hatria sanitary fitting collections, dominate the space designed by the designer Nilo Gioacchini. (Marazzi Group hall 20, Hatria hall 37).
